What is DNAWitness?
DNAWItness™ is a forensic service product that can help identify physical characteristics of a person based on DNA. This service is used as investigative tool. It predicts the likely ethnicity of a person based on the DNA crime scene evidence—it can even predict the percentage ethnicities for those who might have dual or multiple ancestries (e.g. 85% Sub-Saharan African and 15% Native American).

Can you determine the sex of the person tested?
Yes. The Amelogenin locus is included in our standard forensic DNA profile.
